In a cosmic coincidence that has astrophysicists both thrilled and on high alert, a powerful solar flare erupted from the Sun this week—its radiation and charged particles hurtling directly toward a recently detected interstellar object now drifting through the outer solar

system. Dubbed “2025 FX1,” the enigmatic visitor—only the third confirmed object from beyond our stellar neighborhood—has become an unplanned laboratory for studying how alien bodies react to solar fury.

What Happens When Alien Meets Solar?

Unlike ‘Oumuamua (2017) and 2I/Borisov (2019), 2025 FX1 is being monitored by multiple observatories, including the James Webb Space Telescope and the Deep Space Network. Scientists are watching closely for any outgassing, surface changes, or unexpected acceleration clues that could reveal its composition.
